Artist Shalygina Yulia

Born in Krasnoyarsk in 1997. Graduated from the Siberian State Institute of Arts with a degree in easel painting. Lives and works in Krasnoyarsk.

Contemporary painter, works with the digitalization. The works are based on images from the digital environment, the image assembled from fragments found on the network. Detailed and pretending to be real — the world becomes artificial, disruptive and technogenic, visualizing modern perception, which was influenced by the art of the Renaissance and the New time, as well as computer graphics, visual gaps, information overload.

The works are in the collection of the Museum Center “Ploshchad Mira”, and in private collections (Moscow, Paris, Krasnoyarsk)
