In the 90s, Komar and Melamid painted “favorite pictures” of the peoples. The discussion of cooperation with the machine is increasingly being called upon in our time, and in the series “Picture of a Place”, survey data is used to generate images by artificial intelligence trained on world painting.
Are we ready for a world where horizontal relationships are built with machine intelligence? Sharing the creative potential, traditionally considered the prerogative of man? These visual images are only a part, a squeeze out of an endless stream of algorithmic images that raise questions about the image of a particular space and authorship.
